As owner operator of Total Control Inc. I have been helping schools, municipalities and private sports organizations in the New Jersey area to provide safe, playable and durable playing fields for more than two decades.
Although started as a full service residential lawn care company in 1986, I realized the need for expertise in athletic field management. The challenges in residential lawn care are different than those posed in athletic field management. A typical soccer or football field can receive as much traffic in a day as a residential lawn might receive in a year. This fact coupled with budget concerns creates a very challenging atmosphere.
With limited budgets and streamlined maintenance crews, it becomes imperative that the management strategy prioritize procedures to minimize waste and optimize efficiency. Limiting factors in improvement need to be identified and addressed. Site specific limitations need to be evaluated and accounted for in a program. Total Control Inc. can bring these abilities to the plate.
As owner operator I am a licensed commercial pesticide applicator and Total Control Inc. is a licensed pesticide applicator business. I am one of the first sports field managers in New Jersey to receive Certified Sports Field Manager (CSFM) certification by the National Sports Field Managers Association. Total Control Inc. is licensed by the State of New Jersey to conduct business.
